Update & Personal Note 2010-7

December 1, 2010

Hello all,

Finally it is here. It is December and this year of amazing events for all of us is winding down. Our activities shift from many things we do normally to the season’s preparations and celebrations.

Janis and I just had a wonderful and busy Thanksgiving weekend and beyond. We are now settling into this last month of 2010 and preparing for next year’s new adventures.

So we are then especially thankful to all those who think of us and support us through faith, prayer, and finance, especially in this season. You have no idea how much you have helped in getting our “total truth” message of “perfect Christ manifesting perfectly in perfected humanity,” broadcast all over the world. Every one is appreciated. To continue that support there are links on my Voice in the Wilderness blog under the listing on the right titled, ”How to Help the Work,” as well as in my original Single Eye Website.

I am continuing to receive emails almost daily expressing thanks for the writings and the other media. I am getting correspondence from all over the United States and from several other countries as well. The project I started in July of this year, the Voice in the Wilderness blog, as of this writing now has had 8,655 readers for the now 146 posts uploaded since July 21st of this year. I am stunned and gratified at the interest, as each new article posted are now read by many every day, both here in the USA and also many from around the world.

As I related last year’s Christmas note, I will now repeat that “it has seemed a slow growth, but I am beginning to see it is like an old story I related a while back. The story is about a man who is walking somewhere and it is lightly misting — a mist so light that he almost does not feel the moisture coming down. He walks and walks, and when he finally gets to his destination and goes into the house, when he takes off his coat he realizes it is soaking wet. That is like the kingdom of God. We are soaking in God every moment, but sometimes it is in such “normal” circumstances we don’t notice it. But one day we realize how “wet” we are. It was happening all the time and we hardly saw or realized it. (Mark 4:26-29)

“And the work is the same. This started off by sending a few thoughts out to a few people in 2001. Now they are going out to hundreds in this country and worldwide. We are visiting many on our trips, and corresponding with different people every day. God has an effect far beyond what we know, and we will truly only know how much when we are all sitting together at the Table of the Lord at the “Ya’ll Come Big Celebration and Dinner-on-the-Grounds.” Right now we are tasting in our spirits the new wine of the kingdom and it is a glorious wonderful taste, absolutely the best wine there is, and the greatest inebriation around!”

Likewise we are always looking to expand our travels, so that I might be able to visit others while Janis holds down the home base and works on the things she does. While continuing my travels with John Bunting et al, this past year also saw an increase in my personal travels, especially our Florida tour in late winter. Still, we always ache to travel and share ourselves more, and as the Lord provides and the invitations come, we see this happening. Our desire is to get out to whereever we can to encourage others into the simplicity of a unified life with the Living Jesus Christ.

We are available to come to share with anyone as the Lord provides. We only await an invitation. There is never a charge or a “guarantee” sought, but we come as led to “freely give, as we have freely received.” We would be glad to come to you as the Lord works it out. We have no formal courses, series, seminars, etc., but just come and give what the Lord has given us, unique in every situation and location. It is simply for us a testifying to “what we have seen and heard, and now show unto you,” as John said in that inspired opening of the first epistle of John. We would very much like to meet with anyone who would like to meet with us.

One more thing to consider is this: where is all this leading? In some sense I have no idea, because the Lord pretty much gives out information on a “need to know” basis. For the most part all I “need to know” is to walk daily in Christ, taking one God-directed step at a time, with only a somewhat dim vision of what lies ahead. One thing I am certain about, however, is that this is leading to the great climax spoken of in Romans 8: 19-21:

“For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creation was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, because the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”

There is a new wave and direction of the Spirit coming, that I am sensing in the depths of my being. I will speak of that more in the coming days. The NT writers always exhorted people to get on with it, because “the time is short.” It IS short. I say that not necessarily because I believe in the imminent physical return of Jesus, but simply because there is far more to do than any of us can do in our “short” lifetimes, or could even do in a hundred lifetimes. Therefore for us, the message always is this: keep going, advance, forget what has been done or we have already done, and “press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling” (Phil 3:14). I have come to see with Paul that this “pressing” is not in a self-oriented “I am doing this because I am getting heavenly rewards” attitude, but that this “pressing toward the mark” is centered in one thing only: to bring the “many sons unto glory” (Heb 2:10). These are the REAL stars in our crown, the true heavenly “rewards.” For this  we may are willingly and continually “spending and being spent” (2 Cor 12:15), that we might “present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” (Col 1:28).

Thanks again, all of you, for everything!

Have a Merry merry merry AWESOME Christmas, and a Happy New Year!!!

  1. Really interesting Fred. I shared this post with one of my best Uni friends with whom I’ve been regaling this stuff since I got them all on a University reunion weekend together to share my new findings in 1990. One of the people there became my wife….but mostly it was way too early for most to have any idea what I was going on about.

  2. Fred you have been a blessing to me through all of your writings, I pray that the liberating Truth Message be a message recieved whereever you go!

  3. Thanks for sharing Fred,
It’s always such an encouragement to me to see how your life of faith manifests and bears fruit in the practical realm in which we must live, and your writings have been a great help in connecting some dots in my own understanding of who we are in Christ.
Blessings to you and your family this Christmas, I’m trusting we can have a visit in 2011!
    Mic.
